Time to paint?

As you may know, most of my srtistic free time is taken up with my daily blog

So it comes as no surprise that...um. actually I've no excuse. It's been about 3 years since I last did a painting and I thought it about time I tried it again. If I can do this painting within a couple of weeks I'll enter the open air art exhibition this year.
So my idea is Thanos! here's my start;

first a little sketch gets re-drawn onto the canvas, then I add some base colour.
this gives me something to work on...hopefully.
So if you see me, bug me about finishing a painting!!!!
